The Australia Council for the Arts supports the creation, presentation and appreciation of distinctive cultural works. The Council needed a simple yet compelling idea to showcase its strategic direction.
The Council wanted to convey a new strategic direction with their improved corporate identity design system and report. The end result had to align with their existing brand guidelines, which were restrictive.
We distilled a powerful positioning statement — embedding the word ‘arts’ into the word ‘Australia’ — and redeveloped the Council’s primary print piece. Through effective project and production management, the report was processed efficiently and accurately through our studio, and delivered complete, on time and within budget.
The Council now has a reinvigorated brand identity and is applying it to a raft of materials, including their annual report, artist careers, interactive PDFs and infographic guidelines.
